Philip and Michal’s gay wedding on the French Riviera was a celebration of love, freedom and timeless elegance. Travelling from Australia to the South of France, they chose La Bastide du Roy, near Antibes, for a destination wedding surrounded by their closest family and friends.

With its historic gardens, centuries-old olive trees and unmistakable Mediterranean atmosphere, La Bastide du Roy offered a beautiful setting for their celebration. The combination of heartfelt emotion, relaxed sophistication and the natural beauty of the French Riviera made every moment a pleasure to photograph.

For me, photographing their wedding was about capturing more than the beauty of the location. It was about telling their story authentically — the connection between them, the joy shared with their guests and all the spontaneous moments that made the day uniquely theirs.
